We are excited to announce BCLForALL.com! We are a community based team of homeowners in Bear Creek Lakes community, in Jim Thorpe, PA, nestled in the beautiful Pocono Mountains. Our goal is to protect property rights, including the right to rent our homes on a short or long term basis with reasonable rules but without the restrictions. To do so, we need to expand our support and lift our voices, and raise money for our legal expenses to stop our board from making illegal decisions that would negatively impact our properties.

BCL For All was founded to give a voice to lot owners who want to maintain their property rights. We support reasonable rules for STRs and are opposed to restrictions that take away from our legal rights as property owners.

Our Mission
There have been numerous unsuccessful attempts to restrict rentals at BCL. Despite these unsuccessful attempts, the Board of Directors continues to attempt to restrict rentals through bylaw changes. Currently, an 18 month waiting period is being proposed. If the BOD passes this, new owners will need to wait at least 18 months before being allowed to rent their home. Our deeds give us the right to rent and the board is not allowed to take that away without a 2/3 majority vote and covenant change.
